First experimenting in distorted vaporwave, his production style has matured to influences of house, juke and drum and bass. For the release of ‘Seascape-64’ we see the collaborative effort of two american producers: Choongum and Shisa. The album, featuring a number of other great musicians also includes a personal favorite of mine, Tokyo Producer mus.hiba for the title track ‘Dreamy Clouds’.
The track features a subtle, ambient vocal work of digi-idol Sekka Yufu; making use of vocaloid technology - scarcely seen in western music and beautifully incorporated by ‘hiba.
A stunning assembly of dream-like electronica and american trap, this collaboration is certainly one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of listening to this year.
